DO YOU MAKE GLUTEN-FREE OR DIETARY CAKES?Yes, we offer Gluten-Free cakes and Dietary cakes. Although a gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, sugar-free, nut-free cake may not be possible, we are not magicians, please just mention your dietary requirements when making a custom cake request and we will do our best to meet your needs.

DO YOU SELL SHEET CAKES OR READY-MADE CAKES?We pride ourselves in creating on-of-a-kind works of art, so NO, we do not offer basic cakes because that's just not our style. Our standard cakes are available on our website. For custom cakes, we work closely with you to make sure each "show stopping" cake is unique and reflects the recipient's personality and sense of style. We create custom "centerpiece" cakes, not basic cakes.

I’M LOCAL, CAN I PICK UP?You bet! If you are in or near the Okotoks, AB area, we are happy to have you pick up your order. At checkout, simply select Local Pickup. You will receive a pick-up notification the week of the date selected with your timed pickup window and pickup address. *Please ensure that you pick up your order within this timeframe, as we may not be available outside of that timeframe. If the given timeframe will not work for you, please notify us immediately to see if we can arrange a different time, we are happy to try to accommodate.

HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK?I’m glad you asked, because we want to make sure that you have your delicious goods in hand in time for the big event! Our delivery driver picks up any orders for the day between 11:00am and noon. Your delivery will take place within a three hour window from that time. If you need your order for earlier in the day, please just make your delivery date for the day before. All our freshly baked goods will be fine stored in the refrigerator until the next day when you need them.

DO YOU DELIVER?Yes, we currently offer delivery to Okotoks, Calgary, Airdrie, and Cochrane. You will see Delivery as an option at checkout.

DO YOU OFFER SHIPPING?YES, we do! Most of our cookies, bars, etc. are shippable, however sometimes weather dependent. We can even ship cakes, believe it or not, depending on the design and size. As you can imagine, we cannot guarantee that it will arrive in one piece, but we have done it before with great success. Please contact us to see if it is a possibility for your cake.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?Orders for general baked goods through our website require a minimum of 48 hours notice. A custom cake order should be placed as soon as you have finalized all the details of your event, with a minimum of 2 weeks notice. Since we are usually booked several weeks ahead, we do encourage early ordering to avoid disappointment (4-6 weeks advanced notice is recommended but we may be able to fit you in if our schedule permits).

HOW CAN I PLACE AN ORDER?There are two ways to order. If you are wanting to order our standard cookies, baked goods or cakes, simply place your order through our website. For custom cake requests, please use the Custom Cake Form on the website, providing as much detail as possible in the form. We will then contact you to sort our any further details and provide you with a quote. We need all of the details of your event in order to provide you with a quote and will ask for ideas and photos you may have for reference. While we do use photos as a reference, we consider our custom cakes pieces of art, so they are subject to the artists interpretation and will not be an exact replica of photos provided.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR YOU TO GET BACK TO ME?We will review your submission and get back to you within 48hours. Please note, we are closed Sundays and Mondays and may not be able to reach out on those days, although always do our best!

4-6 WEEKS?! ARE YOU CRAZY?Trust us, we are IN BUSINESS to help serve as many customers as humanly possible. HOWEVER, 1-we ARE HUMANS, and there are only so many hours in the day and 2-We specialize in over-the-top EDIBLE ART! So generally speaking, people who book with us are usually planning parties and events well ahead of time, NOT last minute. We love you and would be HONORED to create a cake for you. But please don’t be mad at us if you wait until last minute and we are booked. We take all the orders we can possibly fit into our production schedule. If we are booked, it just simply means that other people DID NOT wait until last minute. So, please book in advance so that neither one of us need to be sorry!

DO YOU HAVE A STOREFRONT?Goals! We do not have a retail store currently but are definitely working towards it! We can not wait to have this available; we know how convenient it would be to walk in and pick up freshly baked cupcakes or pop in to select goodies in person! In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy our online bakery and viewing our custom cakes on our social media platforms.

HOW MUCH ARE CAKE TASTINGS AND WHAT DO THEY ENTAIL?We charge $25 per couple for tastings, but when you book your order with us, the $25 gets applied towards your custom cake order. We recommend that you bring any pictures, invitations, etc., that may help us come up with the perfect design for your event. You can choose up to 3 flavors for your tasting. *Tastings are by appointment only, so please contact us as early as possible to check availability and discuss your event.

BOOKING A CUSTOM CAKEAfter filling out our Cake Form and we discuss the details of your event and decide on a cake that you like, if you are interested in booking and would like to proceed, an invoice will be sent to you for online payment. Payment is required in full to confirm your booking.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?A non-refundable deposit of 50% is held for all orders. The balance may be refunded in the form of store credit for cancellations up to a week prior to the date needed and the store credit will be valid for 90 days. If an order is not picked up on the day selected or delivery is denied, refunds or remakes will not be made. We make every attempt to contact you in the event of a missed pickup or denied delivery. If a cancellation is made less than one week prior to your event, no refunds will be accepted. *Please understand that when you book an order, we decline other orders to keep time for your creations. If you cancel, that results in dollars lost, just to accommodate your order. Should you need to postpone or change your event date, we will allow a one-time date change, so long as our schedule can accommodate it. No changes or cancellations will be accepted the week prior to the booked date.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?We accept all major credit cards and e-transfers. For your protection, we do NOT process credit cards over the phone and conveniently send you an email invoice where you can pay by credit card through our secure online system. If you prefer, we can also arrange for an e-transer payment.

CANCELLATIONS & CHANGESIn the event of a cancellation or change of date, please make your request in writing through our online Contact Us email address. If requesting a change of date, please indicate the new date required and we will do our best to accommodate it or let you know otherwise.

WHY IS THE DEPOSIT NON-REFUNDABLE?Remember when we told you above that we BOOK UP often?... Well, there would be NO WAY for us to go back and get all the customers we said NO to, to backfill YOUR SPOT if you decide to cancel your order. Your deposit ensures availability FOR YOU and your special event, and our entire team and production schedule is based on YOUR ORDER once you book it. Yes, your cake IS that special and we make sure of that!

IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED TO PLACE AN ORDER?Yes. Our custom cakes require payment in full to book your order. Part of that is a non-refundable 50% deposit.

WHAT IF I HAVE SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS?Please let us know about any special dietary needs. We do offer a variety of solutions for Gluten free, Dairy free, vegan, etc.. Depending on if you are wanting the entire wedding cake made to accommodate or if you are looking for alternative solutions, we have suggestions.

WHEN IS THE CAKE TASTING?We recommend booking a wedding cake 3-6 months in advance. This ensures you are not disappointed in securing your date. The cake tasting can occur early in our cake discussions. After completing the cake request form, you can request a cake tasting and/or consultation. The cake tasting can be booking in person or as a take home box. You can select up to 3 flavors to try and we prepare your samples.

WHY DO I NEED A CAKE CONSULTATION?A cake consultation helps us ensure we have capture all of your wedding cake dreams. You show us your style and color scheme. This informs the design and helps us manage expectations. We discuss budget and logistics to make the process stress free.

HOW DO I START PLANNING MY CAKE WITH YOU?There are so many details to think of when planning a wedding and the cake is no exception. The cake request form is the first step. There you will tell us about your wedding, the date, venue, style and number of guests. Once we have your information, we will reach out and begin planning with you. We ask for your inspiration and preferences and then create a unique and custom design.

WHAT ABOUT SET UP AND DELIVERY?Tell us you venue location and we can provide a delivery quote. We highly recommend delivery if you are booking a multi tiered cake as transport can be difficult and we do want to ensure your cake arrives as we intended. If you have purchased a dessert bar, we do offer set up at an additional charge. This can include display dishes as well, unless you have rentals arranged. We will discuss this with you to ensure you have thought of all the logistics and to ensure these details are covered.
